Dear Purple-Ears:

Less poetry, more previews this week.  Although I am spinning some more Gilbert and Sullivan today, I just don’t think I have the mental wherewithal to write any more faux-G&S lyrics.

Without giving too much away, I hope, I’ll only say that we have a great slate from ’88: cuts from Eskimo’s first demo and the McGuires’ last demo, Bloom doing a song played a couple of times by Blue Movie, various Ting Tings, Muskrats (live in ’89), and Elevators from the 13th Floor, with Lauren Hill & Pamela Z (though not together), and all your Facebook requests. Plus, more Dave Lee Roth solo, The Lively Ones, Waylon and Merle (though not together), Janor Hypercleats, and the Balkan Beat Box.  Also with STP, The Cult, and Limp Bizkit for all my Mooks out there, and a cheery lack of optimism from The Presidents of the United Sates of America.  What, you didn’t know there was more than one?  With lots of noisy and annoying links, extraneous comments, a brief appearance by Lord Vader, and some sounds you didn’t even know I was recording at the time.  Bring your head, ready to bang, and tune in!
