Sundays from 2 – 4pm
The Brother Bruno show is a music and entertainment show featuring oldies but goodies, rare grooves, and soul classics, hosted by San Francisco’s grooviest cat, Ron Brunecker, a.k.a. “Brother Bruno”
A consumate drummer, Bruno’s career in music spans the golden era of San Francisco’s history – from playing clubs up and down Broadway in the 50′s, to recording on Rodger Collins’ million-selling Oakland soul smash, “She’s Looking Good”, onto playing concerts and festivals with some of the greatest acts of all-time with his own Haight Street psychedelic band, The Womb. For the last 10 years Bruno has been harnessing his love and knowledge of music along with his passion for Bay Area culture as he writes the latest chapter in the Brother Bruno story, Radio DJ and personality. Along with the highest quality music, the “Brother Bruno Show” will also keep you up-to-date with the best happenings in Bay Area arts, sports, entertainment, and much more.
The show is produced and co-hosted by Ben Viguerie, a.k.a. “Dr. Vigs”, a South Louisiana-born, grammy-nominated keyboardist, producer, DJ, and record collector. Together, Bro. Bruno and Dr. Vigs will bring you a two hour dose every Sunday that’s sure to keep you GROOVY throughout the week! |

“The Brother Bruno Show” Is from a cat that been around more corners than a geometry set !!!
Bro Bruno’s Trac record was born when Fantasy Records was on Treat Street in SF. 1966. My first gig was @ the Zanziabar on Ocean Ave. When Bruno stoled me away with his creative drum beat that MADE Roger Collins====”She’s Lookin’ Good”/ Later recorded by Wilson Pickett===that sold 1.5 million records. A true SF pioneer. “We love you Brother,” and thank you for putting creativitiy & groove into my Life !!!!!! Sincerely, Kevin Pickett
