Thanks for tuning in to the ninth episode of Afternoon Delight! Thanks for listening! You Rock! Today we have 2 hours of awesome sex themed music (todays theme is songs I personally like….about sex) and discussion about music, karaoke, and general life in today’s world. This week AmandaRocks and co-host Sarah “LateAss” Sparkles, my too awesome for words to describe friend, will be interviewing Michael Garcia… a conceptual artist and occasional DJ, as well as the founder of Decentralized Dance Party San Francisco. The Decentralized Dance Party is a hyper-inclusive boombox-powered exploration of public space that takes the form of a raucous moving flash-mob style party. His next event is on Valentine’s Day, in downtown San Francisco. Also we have David Kaye… A man of several careers, David Kaye spent 11 years in radio and TV broadcasting as a TV movie host in Sacramento, a DJ in the Bay Area, Lake Tahoe, and the Monterey area, and as a radio talkshow host in Portland. As a TV movie host he read movie descriptions written by others, but he became intrigued by the collection of movies the station had acquired. As time went on he learned more and more about film and discovered early animation. He soon began collecting books, films, and videos of cartoons. Today he runs Cartoons All Day, a Roku video channel containing hundreds of vintage cartoons at any given time, over 24 hours of cartoons running continuously with no commercials. It’s his vision to introduce the public to the great animation of Dave Fleischer, Ub Iwerks, Tex Avery, and early Hanna/Barbera. And we can’t forget Luke “Walgreens” Sauer and his co-host Sabastian Vego from Fccfreeradio Show “What’s Really Happening”. We will also try to get a call into Jan the Neighbor lady. So get ready to get tuned in and turned on!
