Fish Burps episode 37 features the crew all together and boy oh boy, do they have a lot to catch up on. Sara missed last week and Doug missed the previous week and Dan has missed being in the same room with them both. Dan means this sincerely so piss off if you don’t believe in his sincerity. Dan is the most sincere person in this conversation so please watch your tone.
This week Fish Burps welcomes comic and all around swell guy Darnell Baker aka Rusty Shakelford. Darnell will brighten all of our days with his pleasant personality and charm. Darnell and Dan will discuss the documentary they’re working on about stand up comedy in the Bay Area. So that will be fun to talk about, but only for Darnell and Dan. They will also discuss all of the celebrity deaths so far this year and who’s next. Watch out Trump, Bieber, all of the Real Housewives, Charlie Sheen, etc. Fish Burps will dig deep into the fascinating world of reality TV shows centered around real estate and try to find out why they exist in such unnecessary abundance. Dan thinks because it’s a fantastic showcase for complete assholes. Also, apparently a Yelp user pooped their pants at a restaurant and, ironically, the restaurant is pissed. Doug wants to discuss the upcoming election and so that discussion will happen. Also, we’ll attempt to introduce a new segment called “Vic Jokes.” Wow, listeners, hold onto all of your hats. And then Lyal Avery showed and Dan was happy for reals!
Plus, Dan and Doug met Larry “Bubbles” Brown. It was the best.
The program features humor (hopefully), adult language (definitely), intervals of Dan & Doug loving and/or hating one another, complaining, adult themes, adults discussing TV show theme songs, and Sara rethinking her decision to be a part of this. Listener discretion advised. But, jeez, I’m not your mom. Live your life.
Two life long friends, Dan & Doug, who can barely stand one another wax moronic about their lives, the world and other pointless endeavors. Doug & Dan almost never agree on anything but one of them is always right. Through their very different lenses they will dissect everything and try to figure out what the hell is going on, as if it matters. There will be lively conversations about many topics (TBA), arguments, tiffs, petty bickering, friendship, special guests, not so special guests, intelligence and stupidity. Plus, pie. As their fan base grows, so will their power and influence. This will ultimately lead to an enormous fight [hopefully] on air about how to use their new found cache of cultural importance. Doug will want to use it to get more beer; Dan will want to use it to find the absolutely best pair of pants for his body type. Have a listen before things go horribly wrong. And, oh yeah, the pie.
