Tonight on Fish Burps, it’s a time for reflection. How far we’ve come, where we’re at, who is that strange man in the corner l0oking at Doug like he knows something he shouldn’t. So many things. DSD welcomes comics and all around merry fellows Joseph Ugalde and Florentina Tanase to the show to discuss their lives, loves, and thoughts on the differences between balms, salves, and ointments. The differences are subtle, much like the “l” in two of those words, as well as the “b” in subtle but still important. We’ll talk about the UK’s departure from the EU and all act like our opinions are relevant and well informed. But we guarantee they won’t be. Perhaps Doug and Joseph’s will be but Dan will be thinking about why Woody Woodpecker cartoons are not more readily available, Sara will be feigning interest because she has manners and Florentina will be just looked stoned, even though she’s not, because that’s just how she looks much of the time. A new game thought of by Sara, “Ask Questions to Us on Facebook” will be played as will be “Better Name in Development” and confusion will arise, as confusion is wont to do. Fish Burps don’t mean “won’t” because Fish Burps knows how apostrophes work. Do you? You will after this episode. But probably not. But maybe.
The program features humor (hopefully), adult language (definitely), intervals of Dan & Doug loving and/or hating one another, complaining, adult themes, adults discussing TV show theme songs, and Sara rethinking her decision to be a part of this. Listener discretion advised. But, jeez, I’m not your mom. Live your life.
Two life long friends, Dan & Doug, who can barely stand one another wax moronic about their lives, the world and other pointless endeavors. Doug & Dan almost never agree on anything but one of them is always right. Through their very different lenses they will dissect everything and try to figure out what the hell is going on, as if it matters. There will be lively conversations about many topics (TBA), arguments, tiffs, petty bickering, friendship, special guests, not so special guests, intelligence and stupidity. Plus, pie. As their fan base grows, so will their power and influence. This will ultimately lead to an enormous fight [hopefully] on air about how to use their new found cache of cultural importance. Doug will want to use it to get more beer; Dan will want to use it to find the absolutely best pair of pants for his body type. Have a listen before things go horribly wrong. And, oh yeah, the pie.
