The Boro DJs return with a new show this weekend. Spotlighting this Saturday, we have the legendary trumpet player: Miles Davis. Miles Dewey Davis III (May 26, 1926 – September 28, 1991) was an American jazz musician, bandleader, and composer. According to Paul Tingen, Davis was at the forefront of several major developments in jazz music, including cool jazz in the late 1940s, hard bop in the mid 1950s, modal jazz and orchestral jazz in the late 1950s, post bop in the 1960s, and jazz fusion in the late 1960s through the 1980s. Gerald Lyn Early named him inarguably one of the most influential and innovative musicians of the 20th century. A long with Ras One, MightyL will give the jazz fiends what they desire. It all kicks off today at 6pm(pst) in studio 2B on FccFreeRadio.com. Come through and vibe out wit your boys…..CHEA!
