2nite on The Cool Lounge, we have the l8est by two of our favorite artists.

During the first hour we’ll check out Logic’s new release, “Everybody.” The album’s title track was released as the lead single on March 31, 2017. The track was produced by Logic himself, alongside his frequent collaborator 6ix and PSTMN. “Black Spiderman” was released as the album’s second single on April 13, 2017. The song features a guest appearance from Damian Lemar Hudson, which Logic and 6ix, who both of them also produced the track as well, alongside DJ Khalil. “1-800-273-8255” was released as the album’s third single on April 28, 2017. The track borrows its name from the phone number for the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. The song features guest appearances from singer-songwriters Alessia Cara and Khalid, which Logic and 6ix, who both of them also produced the track as well.

During the 2nd hour we’ll review Bruno Mars’ l8est, 24K Magic. It was released on November 18, 2016 by Atlantic Records as the follow-up to his second studio album Unorthodox Jukebox (2012). Recording sessions took place from 2015 to 2016 and the production was done entirely by Shampoo Press & Curl. Shampoo Press & Curl serve as the executive producers with the additional production by The Stereotypes, Jeff Bhasker and Emile Haynie. It marks the first time Mars has not produced under The Smeezingtons.
