The mighty USS returns, after another week-long battle with the plague, to bring our loyal listeners a night of diverse music from 8-10pm (PT) in Studio 1A.

First up, guitarist Jon Rubin makes his 3rd appearance and this time he’s bringing his entire trio with him, Hardly Strictly Traditional. Accompanied by Cal Keaoola on violin/fiddle and Aine Brolly, Jon will be playing their brand of celtic/folk fusion.

Then, from 9-10pm, our good friend Michael Cobra (who is surpassing Death Valley High for most frequent guest) will be coming by, but not to talk about things related to King Loses Crown. This time he’s going to have vocalist Rebecca Gone Bad in tow to discuss their project – Happy Fangs. They’re even going to play acoustically in the studio.

So join us for an amazing night of acoustic music from opposite ends of the spectrum. Besides, it’s the last show until we return from our hiatus in the land of the Hobbitses.
